It's funny how this keeps happening to the middleweight kingpins. Hagler spent years being screwed before he could get a shot to become the man, Hopkins spent years fighting boxing politics to become the man, Martinez had his belt stripped so it could be gifted to Chavez Jr., and now Golovkin is going on 3-4 years of being denied a chance to be crowned the official middleweight champ.
