I dunno ... the 3 MW champs all fighting within a few weeks of each other, against opponents they should have no trouble beating could just be coincidence, or it could mean something is going on behind the scenes.

Now THAT, I can see happening. And it's not a bad solution either, considering that Canelo/Golovkin is not going to happen next.

Unfortunately, I think that Canelo will want the Saunders fight at 155.

I really hope not.

If he fights Saunders at 160, then there is no reason why he can't fight Golovkin at 160 either, it stands to reason.

But unfortunately, I do not believe that Canelo will fight above 155, until he is ready to move to middleweight.

It's not right when he does it either. But if they're going to get away with it constantly over in Europe (see Felix Sturm, Jurgen Braehmer etc) then I don't see why American fighters can't start taking advantage of it too.
