Boxing fans fabricating UFC ratings, using nonsensical weight comparisons, and just plain looking ******. They are arguing for UFC just to argue.

Elbows to the throat and head, flying kicks to nowhere, piss-poor boxing technique, poor balance......no thanks. As dreadfully run as boxing undoubtedly is, give me the aesthetic pleasures of two skilled boxers any day. Vargas-Ali was far FAR more interesting than the UFC card, which was only amusing for seeing that punk Conor getting beat and the overall unintentionally funny aspects of the whole thing. I honestly have no idea how people can derive much pleasure from MMA

A lack of quality is perceived as being "exciting", when in reality, everyone is beating each others ass because there is no-one within it who is a true craftsman with beautiful refined skills. Someone like Golovkin is more entertaining to watch than that whole damn sport combined.
Right now though, the UFC > Boxing. Everyone in boxing acts like they're mayweather and try to pull the A-side, B-side card. All the boxers are ****ing divas and cry over 1 ****ing lb. Hell, Frampton Quigg almost got called off over a ****ing dressing room. Think about it man.

I mean even with the PBC model that's trying to copy the UFC model, the fights aren't gettin made. In UFC you don't know who is going to win. The best are fighting the best in the sport. It's unpredictable. Boxing on the other hand, you know who is going to win. EVERYONE cherry picks. It's not even worth watching because you already know the outcome before the fight even takes place. And if a fight that is 50/50 gets made in boxing, you'll be waiting 5 years before that happens because they're letting it "marinate"

**** boxing. I'm starting to shy away and shift over to the UFC and i'm sure many others are as well.

Our only chance is if PBC succeeds and they make the best fight the best, but even that I doubt.

Their best typically fight each other until they reach the apex and are able to pick and choose.
People regurgitate this cap and it goes to show they have no idea what they are talking about in regards to the UFC. There are protected fighters in the UFC. There are times the matchmaking gets really stale. The best don't always fight the best and sometimes even their best guys get beat by absolute tomato cans. UFC is definitely fun, but a lot of guys talking about it clearly have no idea wtf they are talking about.

Boxing doesn't give me the best boxing fights

Mma gives me the best mma fights..

If boxing could deliver the best fights like mma does, then none of this would be debated

I don't see the mystery. Look at the last 12 months of boxing.

MW titles held hostage by catchweight goons, that Mayweather-Berto sham, even a historical fight like Fury-Klitschko was hard to stay awake through.

I guess there's some fantasy that the public will become interested in 5'3" 100 lb Gonzolez but it's not gonna happen.

A couple free UFC "fight nights" about equaled last few months of boxing in total excitement.
