I used to get excited to hear this kinda talk from Arum, in the 80's, 90's,OO's, but not anymore.

I just want to see more good fights!!
I want to see Bud, solve a minor "problem".

Fans don't normally care about such crap. All they care about is see meaningful fights happen.

If suing Haymon is the only way fights fans want to see can happen, what's the problem?

Fans should be celebrating, instead of acting like they're Haymon's nephews or nieces.

I'm pointing out Bob's lying. He just said he would never work with Haymon and he's suing Haymon now he's saying he isn't the one holding up the fights. The interviewer asked him has he called PBC to try and make the fights and Arum said they should call him. He asked Arum why doesn't he reach out to them and he says he's reaching out to them now, via a youtube video. WTF? That shows me he isn't serious about making the fights.

You can't sue a guy for $100M & expect a business arrangement will be forthcoming. Arum isn't dumb enough to think that either. But as usual his media angling is tip top. He's the best promoter at controlling the narrative of the boxing landscape & fights being or not being made in the business for sure now, but probably ever too.

Not only does he control the narrative but the media helps him write the narrative. When I saw this video my jaw dropped. In this video Arum is talking about the negotiation heading into the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight. There was an issue between Mayweather Promotions and Top Rank Promotions over the undercard fight sequence. Who would fight first and who would fight second. Arum said all the media guys (he names Kevin Iole and Dan Rafael specifically) told him to have Lomanchenko go first so they can write about him.

Isn't Golden Boy suing Haymon for 300mil?

Arum's situation is way worse and he has even less choices, though.

                    Yea.

I assume this question is in relation to Amir Khan (a Haymon guy) vs Canelo (a GBP guy) being made?

From most accounts Khan doesn't have the same sorta contract that other Haymon fighters have. And probably more importantly Oscar has hinted & implied he still has options on Khan &/or that Khan is still a GBP fighter + I believe Khan has been & is still listed as a GBP fighter on the GBP website. I think this suggests Khan is a unique situation.
