Nice scrap. Good win for Vargas. But it further illustrates how overrated the welterweight division is right now. Vargas isn't very good, ans basically just demoed one of the division's up-n-comers.

Like I've always repeated, Vargas' new-found confidence came when Arum promised him the Pac fight a year or so ago.
He then practiced developing the Marquez one punch KO with Roy Jones on his side. He first applied it in the Demarco fight. And if you re-watch it, Vargas' one-punch KO was landing at will. Then came the Bradley fight where all he had in his mind was to KO Bradley with one punch, which cost him to lose all the rounds, except the last round.
This time he finally did it.
Not a fan of Vargas, but I'm glad he won. Didn't like this Sadam guy's style of not being able to sustain an attack without running and a bit of clinching.
