I'm probably the only one who wasn't surprised by the outcome of the fight. I was waiting for it during the entire fight.

Like I've always repeated, Vargas' new-found confidence came when Arum promised him the Pac fight a year or so ago.

He then practiced developing the Marquez one-punch KO with Roy Jones on his side. He first applied it in the Demarco fight multiple times. And if you re-watch it, Vargas' was landing at will. Either Demarco had a good chin or the Vargas power was still lacking. Then came the Bradley fight where all he had in his mind was to KO Bradley, which cost him to lose all the rounds, except the last.

This time he finally did it.

Not a fan of Vargas, but I'm glad he won. Didn't like this Sadam guy's style of not being able to sustain an attack without running and a bit of clinching.

It's really funny because I was big on Vargas after he scored the KO of the year in 2012 but thought he stagnated and got exposed by Khabib..But yep...I'm just lying LOL...

Broner is more skilled yea, Vargas ...Probably more skilled, but when they fought Khabib followed him around all night , stood in front of him and landed more punches... You think skills is rolling your shoulder and sliding backwards... Theres more to it than that. Like I said , Post the full highlights or full fight and let the fight tell the story.

I'm really not a Khabib fan so "salty"(please tell me you don't actually talk like this you utter fool) is something I am not and you expose yourself as a fanboy by being unable to understand that... Vargas got a decision he shouldn't have.. That's really the be all and end all of it..You keep justifying your new hero Vargas with how he "didn't" lose to Khabib and how he would have knocked Bradley out if he had ten seconds more...
