Khan may think he's a star but he's taking the short end of the financial stick by a good margin I suppose. And more important, he's fighting at the weight Canelo prefers even though it's a huge disadvantage to him. So yeah, what Oscar is saying makes sense.

Canelo has all the leverage and when ggg and his fans get the simple fact that he needs canelo more then canelo needs him the fight will get made on his terms not ggg. GGG knows how this works he threw around I'm the A side talk to try and enforce catch weight and other demands over ward. Now he is the clear B side to canelo and has to either agree or no fight. GGG making things difficult because he doesn't know his place and thinks he's a superstar and he is not canelo is.

NO , negotiations are complicated because your fighter refuses to fight at the weight he is the champion of.

He pretty much accepted everything. And Khan is a bigger star than GGG. And Khan fighting at 155 is suicide compared to GGG fighting at 155. Different sized balls I guess.

Khan moving up technically 2 weight classes. Hopkins willing to go down 7lbs for GGG. Ward moving up to sign to fight Kovalev. Everyone making sacrifices to make fights happen, except one guy.

GGG doesn't care about the belt he wants a fight with canelo. And Floyd went 2 years not fighting at the weight he was a champion of 154 after he won the belt at a catch weight of 152. The belt means nothing canelo has never fought at 160 and will not do so simply because GGG says so.

Purse bid. End of negotiations. The fight isn't hard to make. This isn't May-Pac. GGG is the mandatory. Why are people making this more complicated than it should be?
