Provodnikov is 3-2 in his last 5 fights, the wins coming against Castillo (who should be retired) and a guy with 14 pro fights. He lost to Matts and Algieiri, even though he fought hard. DOes that warrant a possible title shot?

This shouldn't be acceptable to boxing fans.
Because Pistol SUKS and cheats. Should of been DQd for all the HOLDING he did against Matty. I can't understand how they call Low Blows all the time but NEVER holding until like round 7/8??? By then the damage is done from having to carry the other guy for almost 7 rounds...

Thinks its EASY??? Go put a 140lb flak jacket on and box a dude for 12 rounds... You'll see why I call it cheating. Might as well let them hit you in the nuts as well.

We can agree to disagree. Postol IMO beat Matts ass clearly. Sure there was some holding at times but DQ, GTFO!

Postol is being punished for beating the guy who Crawford would have defeated easily. He should be fighting Crawford next, not Ruslan.

So who's been spreading this crap about Provo avoiding Crawford? I even doubt the Herrera thing is true.
Bob Arum is a liar. But the same people who say he is run with his lies.

Who else did Arum mention unwilling to face Crawford? Postol has surfaced and wants Crawford. And here Provodnikov wasn't even mentioning about the money aspect.

That's why the media needs to check with the other side before writing anything when it comes to Arum.

Provodnikov losses are all controversial, he always puts up a fight and beats up everyone, great chin, power and heart... He's just a fighter from east Europe that nobody cares about, they can rob him no problem and they use him as a stepping stone for "names"... I expect him to give even Crawford fits, Bud should be careful, i don't think he can ko him honestly, but who knows...

When your punches landed = times you grabbed someone. That's holding.

All he did was one punch and then grabbed Matty and being much taller was practically leaning on him and wrapping his legs around him...

Pistol didn't need to grab Matty over 100 times to beat Matty. Go back and watch that count the amount of times he grabbed Matty and also time it! You'll see it's 50% of the time was watching them hug like long lost lovers... And he only landed like like 113 punches?? No good/great boxer at 140 should be landing 11 punches per round against a much slower boxer. He held and you know it!

I like Pistol also. But you should be that scarred to take a hit. use your speed, ring generalship, head movement. Not grab someone for over and average of 1:30 a round.

Provodnikov needs to win a fight or two even against a top 10 guy. I feel like he's lost 3 of his last 4.

Why is that relevant when Crawford supporters already celebrated by announcing, "Provo is ducking Crawford!" They're so happy about it. They would look ****** if they say what you're saying here.

Anytime I read Provo is avoiding ANYONE you know that's BS, the man will fight a damn lion he has that heart and mindset. He loves going to war anytime.

You are right he needs a big win to become elite again, his last wins were against a retiring Castillo and an undefeated Mexican dude who I don't think anyone had heard of. A fight with Rios or a Herrera would be perfect!

Wish they would have had Provodnikov for the last fight, Crawford will box and move, but we would really see if he is for real.
Lundy had a bad plan, but to make it worse he ran his mouth, Ruslan will do his talking in the ring, win or lose.
I would rather see a different opponent for both, Crawford vs Postal, Prov needs a Rios or brawler, at least to get tune up for big fight.
