It's too bad for Frampton that he's tight at 122, and Rigo isn't. Otherwise, Carl could have avoided the fight by insisting that it had to be at 119lbs or no deal, and you would have been fine with that, yeah?

because they won't get in the ring with him lol. this is such circular logic - "rigondeaux deserves to be avoided by the name fighters because he hasn't beaten a name fighter in three years". it's a catch-22 and a totally unfair standard. it's like the old dilemma that you need work experience to get a job, when you can't get work experience without a job in the first place

frampton has fought a bunch of guys who brought him less money, attention and kudos than fighting rigo would have. there's only one reason not to make the fight and that's because he and/or his team clearly have no confidence in his ability to win. he can't call himself a champion in good conscience as long as rigo remains unbeaten

Paul Williams was in the same boat as Rigo, he couldn't land the big fights so what did he do? He moved up and dared to be great. Rigo goes on like he's some warrior, but what's he doing to try and force the issue?

Mate, I'd like to see Frampton-Rigo, I'm a fan of any fight that establishes an undisputed champion.
