    Last month, Andrei Ryabinsky, promoter for Olympic gold medal winner and former WBA champion Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22KOs), submitted the winner purse bid to secure the promotional rights for the mandatory fight against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35KOs).

    Nice to see HBO involved. I doubt they get the fight but this is exactly what they should be doing. I haven't cared about an HBO fight since...since...?

          And who cares about Showtime? Its numbers are low, not as if HBo gets huge numbers but Sho has had to televise old fights to get rankings.

            Now the fanboys get into a war for what's the best broadcast for Wilder. This means It'll be in Russia because the card will be scheduled entirely by Ryabinsky (if it was in the U.S prolly PBC would've gotten TV rights). Taking in consderation this (fight in Russia) and the low rankings Shosports had in the last bouts, I would pick HBO for Wilder to get the exposure he needs.

                Literally no1 in this thread is warring over what network it winds up on. I'm just happy it's happening. You are arguing with yourself it seems.
