Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Confident: Maybe I'm Meant To Be a Middleweight

New York, NY- While thanking his team, his manager Al Haymon, and his former promoter Oscar De La Hoya - Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) was swarmed by fans and media during a three city promotional tour to hype up his upcoming pay-per-view fight with WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs).

If he beats Canelo and fights GGG, I'll support him.

If he gets his ass sparked within the first opening rounds like I expect, then I'll just hate on Canelo for being a ***** and fighting someone 2 divisions under Caneloweight.

I'll still give Khan his props for taking a ****** fight like this.

...although I can't blame Canelo. Some popular fighter wants a piece of him that's way smaller, an easy win, and good $$$? **** that's ridiculous luck.

The fact Khan admitted that he had to persuade virgil hunter to get on board with this fight is proof that he did not think its a winnable fight for khan, khan probs said im taking the fight anyway and virgils getting his % cut of the big pay day so no point in causing a fuss over it. If khan had a solid chin at the lower weights then this fight would actually have been a good match up. Think Canelo toys with khan in the early stages, lets him win a few rounds and 2nd half of fight goes in for the kill.

Khan doesn't know his role in the story.

Serious question, does added weight affect your chin...with a thicker, meatier neck perhaps it'll be harder to swivel the chin enough to rattle the brain

Khan should seriously invest in a PR spokesman because I cringe every time he speaks. The dumb ***** that comes out his mouth never ceases to amaze me.
