i hear u but pedraza hasn't been fighting no murderers row either. cherry is a solid guy but not a top 10 guy. verdejo is younger but he needs to start fighting some better guys at top rank like at least juan diaz

Pedraza himself is disrespected as not being elite, but that only makes what he does more impressive to me. He wasn't born with a lot of gifts, so he has to work harder. He can't count on getting the close rounds, he doesn't get points for swinging and missing. Working man, doing working men proud.

Jose Pedraza isn't being managed honestly, or responsibly by his team. He is a great talent, and tough to boot. If he needs to vacate his title, and move up in weight then that's what eh should do. He also may need to find a new management team.

he's a decent fighter but getting a gift wrapped title vs Klimov who was shut out by Crawford and a questionable decision against a decent but not spectacular Cherry isn't exactly getting matched tough but I do agree that he has fought better opposition than Verdejo but really he should be fighting even better opposition. He is a champion. I think he even had the IBO title before and he is a little older than Verdejo. IMO Verdejo has proven he needs some more seasoning.

So let's hope he doesn't pull a Rances Barthelemy, by cherry picking the IBF title, only to go up in weight to a dead weight class without fighting any top 5 opponents at 130. Theres some good fights at 130
