Bottom Line. Do you think GGG can beat Canelo at 155?

Both are divas to be honest.

Canelo more so, with his 155 division. But in fairness he is stuck in between weight classes.

Golovkin shot himself in foot by saying he will fight anyone from 154-168 then refuses the fight certain fighters at 155 and 168. Just looks terrible on his part especially Ward at 164.

But to answer the question, I'd probably pick Canelo because I don't think Golovkin can make that weight.

What do you mean, stuck between weight classes? It's not cruiserweight. He says he can make 154, though hasn't in 2.5 years. Either way, can't hold the MW belt if you won't budge from 155, or 156 vs smaller Cotto as Canelo demanded. He needs to vacate_and then he's free to fight whoever at 155

        He "says".

Golovkin "says" he'll fight anyone from 154-168 but talk is cheap.

Canelo ain't fighting at 154 because if he could he'd have fought Lara and Angulo there.

You know exactly what I mean, he's too big for 154 but not big enough for the full 160 limit.

I dunno, usually when you're too big for one division you move up, unless you're Danny Green but even Dannyweight is 15lbs+ from the lower class, not 1lb! One, two fights at a CW to get used to the weight, OK, but 3 years +? And while holding the lineal belt, that's inexcusable.

They'll both be drained so it'll be even

Everyone's different. Canelo has the luxury of having the star power big enough to be able to make these kind of demands.

The belts irrelevant in this issue anyway because even though Golovkin "says" he will fight Canelo at 155 as long as he doesn't have the belt he's only saying that because he knows Canelo isn't going to vacate the belt.

Golovkin's in a tough spot because he's said he'll fight anyone from 154-168 so Canelo and his team and just going to use that against him.

Canelo looks terrible for sure for having his 4th MW fight and counting at 155 and second fight as the champion but then Golovkin looks bad aswell for picking and choosing who he will fight at specific weights.

Canelo doesnt want to vacate but he's due to be stripped soon. Then we'll find out if Gggs people were bluffing with their CW stance. Doubt theyd do 155, but I bet 157 would work with Canelo coming in as the Challenger. That's more than fair provided Canelo wants to make the fight happen. He doesn't though

I don't think it matters if he's the challenger or not.

Canelo would still be Lineal and more importantly he's the A side so it's going to be Canelo that makes the demands.

Call me crazy, but I don't think he beats him at 160 either.

Same dudes who probably hated on Pacquiao for his catch weights, although he wasn't holding a lineal title/middleweight belt in that division.

                      ridiculous
Basically, and their attempts at rationalizing it are hilarious.
