If Golovkin weighs in above 155, Alvarez walks away from the fight, and the WBC can't do anything to force him to fight. Alvarez will gladly hand the WBC their belt, and the WBC would be left at looking at getting 3% off of Golovkin's small-scale fights (have no doubt that the WBC would gladly sanction Alvarez-Rosado, in a ten round, non-title fight, after Golovkin defaults on the deal that he signed).
