He fought a guy who was 1-2 in his last three fights and the guy he beat had a record of 23-21-1 that's just really not good enough we can complain about other fighters like Wilder, GGG and so on but those guys haven't fought quite as weak opposition as Crawford has.

If I take it off on skill just alone to rate my P4P list I'd definitely have him up there in the top 10 in a good position because I do rate him highly.

He beat the cuban who was a blown up featherweight and one other guy who was marginal. Let him beat Postol, Broner, and /or Provodnikov. Actually i would like to see him fight Peterson too. He is not top 10 p4p yet but in top 15 maybe. This calling out Pacquaio is rdiculous.

In terms of perceived talent, I'd place him in my top 5. I would not put him in a real top 5 P4P list until he gets some more meaningful wins though.

Maybe he needs to earn that fight. His best win was Gamboa who is a featherweight . He beat glorified sparring partner Dierry Jena and Ricky Burns . Give me a break. Dude can fight Postol, provodnikov and Broner as well as Peterson to prove he could be on Pac, Floyd etc level. He reminds me of a small Holyfield , he is there to get hit that is for sure. He is a good combo puncher with some saize and power, but like everyone else said Bluebeam, he has fought guys smaller than him. He is probably a welterweight who is squeezing down to jr welter. Right now it isn't really hurting him because he has fought small guys and weaker comp. Lets see him in with a couple of top guys at 140 first.

While I agree with your point, your reasoning is flawed, IMO. Pac had just suffered a brutal KO and many wondered if his career was over. You can't look at it with 20/20 hindsight and pretend it wasn't a legit matchup at the time.
The Algeri fight was less compelling but, at the time, Chris had a mystique around him and Pac still had a lot of questions surrounding him. It wasn't horribly underserved.

But, I wholeheartedly agree that Pac/Crawford is a fantastic fight though and Crawford has done enough to earn it. I even think Crawford takes it, though I'd be rooting for Manny. I want Crawford and Postol to marinate as it both these guys are huge talents and should be built up before they meet.
