I want to see him fight someone his own size. Gamboa boxed the **** out of him until Crawford imposed his physical advantage.

He's clearly a talented fighter but he needs to step up and take a risk.

Absolutely not. Talent may be there (maybe) but resume sure isn't.

He has physically imposed himself on his opposition who have been woefully undersized. His two best wins (imo anyway) are Burns and Gamboa and he had to tough it out against both and didn't always look particularly fluid, however it did impress me because it shows TC has guts and I've been impressed by that. I've also been impressed by his killer, no BS finishing ability.

Having said that, what happens when he matches someone he can't outsize or someone skilled enough and quick enough to not get caught by him? What happens when he meets someone who overwhelms him with punches? TC is a slow, slow starter, for someone so young, he wastes too many early rounds.

I'd like to see Crawford fight against Postol, Garcia and Porter/Thurman in the coming months to see how good he really is. There are inklings of a very good fighter but someone can not be p4p unless he proves it against the very best or looks absolutely untouchable against less than stellar opponents and he has yet to do either or both.

I'm very high on Crawford. I just want to see him fight some better competition. He can't be a top 5 guy yet without beating anybody above c level. I gave Broner the same **** for it.

Everyone keeps bringing up the Gamboa fight as a detriment to him. Gamboa is one of the most talented fighters of this generation. He would have boxed the **** out of most guys around 135. Crawford has flaws early and he figures his guy out always.

Crawford has tons of potential to be a super star. He will get there in time, he just has to keep on winning and keep stepping up the opponents. I look forward to seeing how his career progresses. I think he is someone that could end up on top when it's all said and done, but he has to fight the best along the way to prove it.

Maybe he needs to earn that fight. His best win was Gamboa who is a featherweight . He beat glorified sparring partner Dierry Jena and Ricky Burns . Give me a break. Dude can fight Postol, provodnikov and Broner as well as Peterson to prove he could be on Pac, Floyd etc level. He reminds me of a small Holyfield , he is there to get hit that is for sure. He is a good combo puncher with some saize and power, but like everyone else said Bluebeam, he has fought guys smaller than him. He is probably a welterweight who is squeezing down to jr welter. Right now it isn't really hurting him because he has fought small guys and weaker comp. Lets see him in with a couple of top guys at 140 first.
