Do you think young prospect Luis Ortiz could rule the division?

If he gets past ustinov i don't see many stopping him except from maybe wilder

that would probably be the best heavyweight fight out there imo, because nobody is outboxing ortiz, but only wilder could maybe stop him with his huge power in both hands

    'young prospect'

He's like 50, even if he does claim to be 36.

Only Wilder can stop him? He'd be seriously lucky to land anything without getting hit back, especially with his awful technique. There's plenty of hard hitters at HW. Haye, Povetkin, Wlad, Joshua would all have a chance, to name a few.

But only the great Wilder can stop him, haha.

I think the best way to beat Ortiz is to box him from distance, which Fury has shown to be able to do at elite level. Ortiz looked impressive against Jennings, but was clearly much bigger

He's just that much of a beast.

Ortiz is older than Methuselah, older than that Joshua tree.. Over 4000 years old.

Black don't crack... But Ortiz can thump... He can sling dem Thangs in the rizing.

If he can get them in the ring with him I fully expect him to rule the division.

Ortiz is brilliant, it's like watching Granddad opening a can of whoopass on these young foo's.

I think he would KO Wilder and he might beat everyone else. Get your facts straight. Ortiz is 36 years old and that's not young for a boxer. I guess you haven't noticed that Wilder has a weak chin for a heavyweight champion. Wilder has been badly hurt by fighters who don't punch with nearly the power and precision Ortiz does with both hands. I am confident Ortiz would shatter Wilder's glassy chin and knock him out if Wilder ever fights him. If Wilder continues his cherry picking ways he will never fight Ortiz.

I'd love to see him fight David Haye. I don't think any one with a belt will fight Haye apart from Ortiz. They are both fighters likely to be ducked by the champions or prospects so it makes sense for both. Ortiz would get a payday for once and Haye would get major props for taking out Ortiz, I also just think it would be a great fight...
