Not according to Team Golovkin.

They have explicitly stated that Golovkin is NOT interested in fighting Canelo, he just wants the belt.

Which is the most bizarre thing I ever heard come out of that camp.

On the other hand...... Amir " the world revolves around me " Khan, feels exactly the opposite, he would cut off one of his fingers to land a Canelo fight..... yesterday, he bent down on 1 knee and thanked Canelo publicly LMAO

Which is in stark contrast to how Golovkin feels..

They said they're not interested in fighting Canelo at 155. They feel that if Canelo has a middleweight belt, then he should not only fight but also defend his title at middleweight, otherwise, he should just give it up to a true middleweight fighter, Golovkin. Canelo holding a belt for a weight class he never fought in is very dishonorable to it.

Meanwhile, Canelo, the middleweight champ, is now suddenly claiming that he's not a middleweight. So...yeah, why DOES he still have the belt?

And yeah...Khan is willing move up for Canelo but Canelo won't do the same for Golovkin. lol

Golovkin completely refused to negotiate with Canelo.

Tell me something..... how many fights get made, when 1 side is completely unwilling to negotiate with the other?

So, if you are correct, and Golovkin totally refuses to negotiate with Canelo at 155..... than that is a blatant duck, just like Ward.

I, on the other hand...... I don't think that Golovkin ducked Canelo..... I think that Team Golovkin are full-of-****, and got tripped up by their own lies. I don't think that Golovkin can make 154, so I am 100% sure that Mayweather would beat Golovkin at JMW.

Golovkin has shown defensive limitations, he can be a little 1-dimensional, AND he simply would not be the same fighter at 154..... he needs to plant in order to be effective, which is why they have avoided mover/spoilers like Ward/Lara/Mora..... you cannot be ANY of those things if you want to beat Mayweather, let alone all of them.

And a compromised opponent could not be regarded as Mayweather's best win.
