Its up to GGG when this fight happens. He can take one look at Amir Khan, who is about to get an 8 million dollar payday and realize he needs to take Canelo's terms to get a career payday of his own. Or he can stay on his moral crusade and refuse to come down to 155. Meanwhile he is entering his mid thirties and has no notable wins to his name and no chance of the WBC stripping Canelo. The fight can happen this September. Its up to Mr. Stepaside if he is willing to accept the B side terms he will be given. He brings just as much money to the table as Khan does, no need to rush for GBP.Comment

This is what gets to me. The sanctioning body has given them both 'interim' title defense opportunities, and then they must face each other. Ok that's fine and Dandy, but here so, how can they put in an 'immediate' rematch clause on the Kahn/Canelo fight when it has been clearly stated by the sanctioning body that they (GGG and Canelo) Must face each other next. Whether their future middle weight title/unification fight is an actual title defense or not, the fight should go on as mandated, and any contractual clause thereafter made between any other fighter should be null and void. Not that I think Kahn is going to beat Canelo, but just on principle, this type of contract undermining of the sanctioning bodies is in poor taste and bad for the sport. I think it safe to say that on a slight chance that Kahn would come out with a win, he would probably pull a Canelo and "blow job" Saunders move and run away from a bout with GGG anyways.
My point exactly. .why da immediate rematch...if khan happens to win. .he has da MW belt..does he have to fight 3G in September or will he be allow a defense b4..3G should take da WBA to court ..if not it's his fault for allowing this mess.Comment

I am confident like De La Hoya is that this fight will happen, GGG will man up and accept the fight before he retires I believe that.Comment

Where do you get this bull**** from? It's not about A, B side, Canelo and his handlers don't want him to get destroyed. Its up to GGG when this fight happens. How do you figure no chance of him getting stripped? Mando has legal standingComment

No chance of him getting stripped because that's the last thing GGG wants. Sure he wants the strap but his bigger goal is the career payday and notoriety that comes with it. There are no more PPV fights for him outside of Canelo. Its why he took the step aside this time and why he will continue to do so in hopes of getting his.
Adding another title against a nobody means more sanctioning fee's to pay without any higher purses than he is making now. Canelo and GBP will dictate when this fight happens and it only happens on their terms. Period.Comment

That's not the last thing he wants. Last thing is no belt and no fight. He might as well grab the belt as its obvious these guys are determined to duckNo chance of him getting stripped because that's the last thing GGG wants.
