Crawford needs to do something at 147 to get that Manny fight as Brook, the winner of Porter/Thurman and Khan all deserve it more.

Even at 140, he has had middling opposition, let's not get this twisted. He is talented and smart but he has yet to show more.

Manny is foolish to continue fighting while campaigning for another job that affects the lives of his constituents. There needs to be a line for him, he's holding onto boxing too hard when his path is very clear.

Most guys don't get to go into another career, Manny should be thankful he has something he can work on as soon as he retires from boxing.


Crawford is the next generation. He could get paid well to fight Manny for sure, but if he loses it will be a huge setback. If he wins then it looks good on paper but doesn't mean that much. It would be a bit of a Floyd-style move to fight Manny at this stage of his career. The onus is on Manny though if it happens. Can't blame Crawford for taking the biggest fight available.


Crawford vs. Postol please. Or Crawford vs. Broner/Matthysse/Brook/Bradley/Peterson/Thurman/Garcia/etc. etc.

Get real and do the math. Assuming he won't retire. He'll probably able to come back after a year or so. Is Crawford going to wait that long? Man, the Postol ducking would be very noticeable.
