There are some good matchups but nothing carrying any hype because everyone is fighting bums then suddenly fighting eachother after having lost their hype. No one is consistent in the sport. Porter is the only one that has shown an interest in that, if he beats Thurman he'll go for the next top dog, likely a Brook rematch, if Thurman wins he'll probably go back to fighting someone we don't care to see like alot of Haymon guys.

          Jesus..

          It's fresh..

Klitschko is out, Floyd is out.. it's a breath of fresh ****ing air

With boxers that are actually fighting.. not running, clinching, and headbutting.

And a whole new era of ducking. I'll tell you what. PBC has won, TopRank and GoldenBoy has to give into it and do business. A guy with 200+ fighters can't be competed with 20 odd fights, 15 of which are average world class fighters.

Ive been watching MMA a lot lately as well. Its more exciting and the trash talk actually helps people get engaged. I said a year ago that when Floyd and Manny retire boxing will go into the dark ages. And we can already see that happening now.

                Agree 1000%!

I don't see no "Potential Greatness" going into the Post Pacquiao and Mayweather ERA either. I don't see anybody that is special who really stands out and can be a All Time Great. All I'm seeing is HYPE of fighters who really haven't done ANYTHING! Casuals hyping guys who knock out Weak Opponents.

Here is the biggest thing...NO PERSONALITIES! Other than Tyson Fury, these boxers are so ***ing uninteresting outside of the ring. The biggest Personalities in boxing right now are: Tyson Fury, Angel Garcia and Ruben Guerrero

Tired of the split among fans, Promoters, managers, networks and all of that stuff, it is crippling the sport right now and I see this sport sinking further and things only getting worse unless something is worked out and everybody start working with each other

Watching more MMA now as well. And it kills me because I love boxing so much. But the number of legitimate top-class fights between the top fighters in the division is truly appalling right now, with no hope of reconciliation any time soon. Canelo vs Khan is a circus fight, Kovalev and Ward is probably never going to happen, Golovkin vs ANYBODY decent isn't going to happen, etc.

Porter vs Thurman is about as good as it gets right now, and even that feels like B-level matchmaking.

I'm never bored with boxing/combat sports. I don't watch or pay attention to any other sport so boxing & MMA are my primary sports & only sports I have serious interest in so my interests don't wander to much anything else entertainment-wise.

Plus I like following the career of guys despite my complaints about a guys opponent on any given night. Like I thought Crawford had a poor opponent this weekend, but I still wanna see his fight & see how he handles Lundy even doe I know its probably gonna be one sided & not the most interesting fight in the world.

Having said that I was pretty fulfilled combat sports-wise well before those late HBO & Showtime cards by splitting my afternoon with watching the Quigg vs Frampton card + the UFC event.
