Hype for this fight. I'm picking Povetkin but wouldn't be shocked if Wilder won. Hopefully I'm wrong though, Wilder could make some great fights afterwards if he wins.

Ryabinsky has stated last year he prefers it to be in Russia. Povetkin doesn't mind fighting in America though and feels himself under less pressure should it be staged in the US.

I think it would be pretty cool to have it in Moscow. Also, Wilder would earn an even bigger payday traveling.

I think there's no chance he will move the fight to the US. His businesses are in russia, he won't make the big show anywhere else. I think he just want better deals in russia for the fight.

So he will tell a russian place, then wilder will flee. He will has some problem with a toe.

After hearing what his promoter said after the bid I find it highly unlikely he would vacate. He has a chance to make a lot of money for him and his promoters fighting in Russia, more than he has made in his last 4 fights any way. After all the talk about unifying and never giving up his belt it would be career suicide for him to vacate. He won't get the big payday without that belt. He needs to beat Povetkin or else he can kiss goodbye to ever facing Fury, Klitschko or the winner of the IBF title fight.

Looking forward to this one though. We'll finally see if Wilder is the real deal or if he really is just a home fighter that deserves his title as the bum slayer

I'm in the same boat. I can't honestly see Wilder beating Povetkin but I really want to see Fury and Wilder win so they can get it on in a unification end of the year. The press conferences alone would be PPV worthy. Lets hope Wilder and Fury can do the biz and make this mega fight at Wembley....winner then takes on Joshua or Martin to unify the belts

                  What's so special about Povetkin?

Really nothing hes just solid. Poor defense, decent speed with with some decent power and boxing skills. Just a basic solid boxer puncher. Im really surprised at how many ppl are so sure he beats wilder so easily. Wilder is bigger, faster and stronger. Povetkin is in for a tough night.
