    Andrei Ryabinsky, promoter for Olympic gold medal winner and former WBA champion Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22KOs), says the mandatory fight with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35KOs) is still on track for late May.

    i will be utterly shocked if he puts the fight in america i dont know it just seems like they were assuming wilder would bail if he won

            Good, this is a good legitimate heavyweight fight. The heavyweight division is actually compelling for the first time in awhile.

              I still think Wilder is going to bail. I don't think he or his team ever had any intention of fighting Povetkin.
