With 2 bung knees and after a lifetime of fighting in other people's home turf taking short money don't you think that the dude was able to cash out with what was the very last fight of his career?

          This right here.

Sergio was green as hell when he got beat by Margarito and only made $900 for his effort.

He knew he was on borrowed time when he avoided GGG and took the money fight against Cotto. A healthy fighter in his prime would deserve criticism for that move, but Martinez wasn't healthy or in his prime when he fought Cotto.

This, so many fights on other people's turf and he often got paid peanuts. I cant fault him for cashing out.

GGG is the A side, it's the Floyd boys who can't admit it.

No sht Einstein!!!! He's been fighting at 160 for almost a 100 years now. While Canelo and Cotto started at 139lbs! That would be like GGG fighting at 175+ 10 YEARS ago!!! And getting beat by WARD...

And yet he pays his opponents an average of 700K...That's NOT the "Golden Lottery Ticket" you get fighting against Pac, Cotto, Floyd, Canelo. Reason why no one wants to fight him.

Sergio knows better. Because he avoided GGG after the Jr. fight, in the first place...

(It's true that Sergio was badly shot already after that fight...)
