The same reason many of these countries don't have Olympic teams or participate in global sport. Unless you're worshipping your make believe friend 24/7, you're seen as a liability.

boxing is a niche sport in the west

it's even a bigger niche sport outside of the west

there are probably many manny pacs, triple g's, amir khans, prince nazeems out there who will never get to showcase their talents because

            1 )no facilities

            2) no food

you take my country, the UK, we have facilities in place, and we dont have extreme poverty, and we produce more champions than the US

life is all about opportunities, we need this sport to grow bigger, so one day it will not be so niche, i just hope mma doesnt get there before us

That's funny; "We frown upon the use of hands and feet in contact sports; such barbarism is beneath us. However, in order to rid the world of infidels, the use of guns, IEDs, RPGs & suicide bomb vests are highly encouraged, no, required!"

There ain't never be PPV sells here, we watch every fight you pay to see free on air. Noone thinks about getting involved in boxing to make money except some few, really few people.
They rather get involved in football, basketball, wrestling but most probably they'll find a full time job.
When i ask my friends to join our boxing club/gym they just refuse and say "they beat me up in there, i want to practice a sport not to get punched."
                i dont get it.

boxing is very susceptible to nationalism/pride especially if your country has a really bad ass fighter and no other sports celebrity.

i never understood why amir khan is not much bigger star in the arab/****** world.

did they not like what they saw when he exposed his pakistani penis on social media?

you're telling me arab money cant afford to set up a boxing gym?

they can afford huge ass skysc****rs but they cant afford to set up a boxing gym to showcase the most rawest form of fighting known to man?

I saw a fight when i was in a vacation in thailand where a jordanian national got ktfo by a drunk small teen ager with a single swipe. Middle eastern mma fighters also get kfto often with light punches and then theres amir khan. It just seems like their symmetrical faces are not designed to withstand punishment. Have you ever seen arabs fight on real life? They slap each other to submission not punch.
