If that's the case I hope Kellerman dosn't try to take over the play by play duties. He tends to talk to much, at times

Fran Charles was the guy for HBO's KO Nation stint. He is a very solid guy and knows his stuff. Has a very direct delivery and really provides solid talking points for others to follow. Should be a very solid team.

what ever happened to KO nation? only saw it once or twice i know for sure kevin kelley and julie lederman where on it but i dont recall fran.

Max is great and so is Fran but Lewis isnt an announcer at all he should have stayed in the ring a few years more gotten punch drunk so we wouldnt have to listen to his crap talk on boxing after dark.

I like that Max is on HBO,lewis is yet to be heard and I don't have to slightest clue who Fran is!

I thought he (Lennox) did pretty well on the Judah-Mayweather card. Better than ****in' George Foreman does anyways.

Kellerman is good, but he does become a comment hog if there isnt someone to keep him in check. That would be this Fran guys job, have no idea if he's up to the task.

Lewis has done okay, certainly no worse than Foreman or Jones. Actually, any HBO fighter/trainer commentator does better without Merchant around because he seems to try to contradict 80% of what they say to prove his worth.

This is crazy... I remember months ago there was a discussion about what commentators people like and don't and when I mentioned I always liked Max everybody and their mother called me an idiot.

Are you kidding? Kellerman is awesome. The only problem I ever had with Kellerman was the way he talked about Roy Jones like he's one of the greatest ever

....Yeah, I ****in hate Kellerman!! I think he sucks and is overly excited about nothing 90% of the time. He is trying too hard and comes across like a frickin dufus IMO. He **** road Chris Byrd like he was his lover. Screw that dork. Lennox has done a decent job recently. Sorry, but I think that team is weak as hell.
