Sure you do go read them on Wikipedia it's states Clinching is illegal it's used only for a short time Floyd looks like he holds for dear life specially against Madaina. It states the ref can deduct points for excessive clinching. I don't when you became a fan to boxing but I've been watching it since the 70's and yes I have seen refs deduct points or disqualify fighters for excessive clinching so before you continue to post ******ed post I suggest you read the rules

so.....he held the whole time, yet outlanded him....its ok, give the man his credit and move on...when did he have time to throw....he was holding the entire time right? Why didnt Maidana run him over? Because he was getting hit and was getting tired from exerting himself and getting countered

      crybabies on this site man.....

See daggum, if you actually work on your all aspects of your craft, you can actually outbox someone.

If you can't do things like cut off the ring, work off your jab, have poor footwork, poor defense/hand positioning or do something like stop combination punching midway through a fight hoping to land one killer shot, you will never outbox someone.

problem is your way doesn't always work when you are in with someone better than you.

Every job has one thing in common-mastering your craft makes it easier to succeed, especially when the situation is difficult.

If you don't know how to box, you can't outbox someone that does.

that's you whining like a baby because Floyd beat Manny.

You can't outbox someone when you never mastered the art of boxing. Floyd, mastered his craft, as have other fighters. Manny didn't.

Now to me this doesn't seem right.

Outboxing someone to me is winning rounds without hurting your opponent.

Didn't Fenech outbox Nelson in the first fight

                    Didn't Hatton outbox Tszyu ?

Boxing is HIT and not get hit.

Not, not get hit and then maybe hit if it's safe to do so.
                    Hatton wrestled Tszyu into submission.
