Yes GGG will get credit, but that little word again.......perspective. He will get the same credit hagler got for beating Duran. It was a nice win for hagler. But Duran also got a lot of credit for doing so well against arguably the goat middleweight. So theoretically Floyd could get a lot of credit in losing. You have to be philosophical about these things!

PAC gets no credit from certain individuals as well butdo you hear him saying is it worth me fighting cos nobody gives me credfit?

He's considered by many the best of this era after his win over PAC. So obviously he's getting credit.
Its silly and immature to say he won't get credit for besting GGG.
You know full well this isn't true.

Terrence Crawford just went to war with a game Hank Lundy. The same Hank Lundy that went to war with John Molina. The same John Molina that got schooled by Adrien Broner.

It can be argued that Lundy had no business in that ring with Crawford. But the fact is he gave Crawford some problems in that fight. Yet I hear nobody talking about how Crawford is fighting "past prime" fighters.

Manny Pacquiao couldn't stop a clearly overmatched Chris Algieri with a bad trainer. I don't hear anybody criticizing Manny for even signing off on that mismatch.

Grabomir Clinchko's #1 move is to lean on you. I don't hear anybody criticizing him.

Cotto and Canelo are both guilty of demanding catchweights.

You talk perspective, so do I. Fact is people give Floyd unfair criticism when every fighter at the top has BS behind them. That's the reality of boxing and it is not exclusive to Floyd yet Floyd is the one people want to complain about despite facing the fighters that were in front of him.

I think Morales and Barrera are the two names that make people think pac is an ATG. Obviously they were over the hill but he had problems with Morales so you can't call him a dead fish. I think they were good wins and Pac was far from prime.

Floyd is not universally considered P4P. Manny is. That's the issue. I'm talking undisputed.

If you go run surveys in 10 countries, 8 of them will call Manny ATG P4P only because of how he fought. Including the USA.

But Floyd's complaint has always been a valid one. How can you be the best when you've been knocked out, much less lost fights?

That's the reason for boxing's decline. All people care about are knockouts, knockdowns and stoppages. Nobody's looking at a fighter's ability to figure out a way to win - no matter how "boring" that way might be.

If GGG thought he could beat khan I'm sure he'd fight khan. Not sure how much credit he would get though.
And the problem nobody wants to fight GGG and Floyd isn't the only one scared. He is willing to come doiwn to 155 for Floyd. He can request acw against ward as he hasn't ever had one before

Aah, ok..... so THAT is the reason why you support Golovkin's b1tch-ness.

Context. I never criticized a WW for not fighting a MW (which is what you said). I criticized the JMW champ for not defending his JMW title.

Oh right, that is because..... Hypekin " promised " that he can make 154?

                    Right ?

Just like he " promised " that he can beat everyone at 168 ?

Dude, Mayweather fights Canelo/Cotto/Pacquiao level fighters..... guys who have proven that they are .....a) elite..... b) a draw..... so, Mr 97k needs to do more than just " promise " in order to land a Mayweather fight.

No historian will ever consider that a duck.

You golovtards all say that Lara needs to prove himself at 160, before talking about Golovkin..... right?

I have no problem with Mayweather picking Canelo/Cotto/Pacquiao over GGG. Compare GGG to Berto and Guerrero and I think the answer is pretty obvious.

And I have no problem if Lara fights GGG in his first fight at 160. He's the 154 champ and has the right to challenge for the 160 title per WBA rules.

This conversation should have been done a long time ago. The only reason it hasn't is because GGG is involved and you don't like him, despite the fact that I have said the EXACT same thing about CWs and titles about other fighters.
