This fight was called as soon as Broner won the WBA belt

As if there were people calling for it. Which really isn't the case. Whats the point of this match up?

here comes the hate from people bashing this fight even tho they same people defending the crawford, ggg, and kovalev pascal rematch. i heard people talking smack that algeri spence was in the works which i actually think is a good fight. I also think fanfora deserves a rematch on stevenson. we got porter vs thurman coming up even tho its gonna get pushed back few weeks. we got khan fighting canelo i mean give me a break pbc haters they are actually making good interesting fights.

U cant have it both ways u cant call broner a bum and this and tht then get mad when he signs to fight theophane. i just dont get the hate for the pbc crew i really dont cause they are making good fights. this is a perfect fight for broner at this time in his career if he wins he can fight another big name. its also a good fight for a friday night

        Finally.

This fight was originally supposed to be in January.

I think Floyd has a lot to learn as a promoter.

Cash out on Theophane, fulfil his obligations as a promoter by getting him a world title shot.

A decent payday for Lil' bro.

Plus, if Theophane does the unthinkable and wins he's got another world champion made to his name.

          Floyd can't really lose here.

Floyd is certainly doing his job as a promoter. Got his guy Theophane a title shot, now it's up to Ashley to make the most of the opportunity.

Solid fight. I'm not mad at it at all. After Broner wins, hopefully he gets in there with Postol, Crawford, Herrera, or even Matthysse/Provodnikov. Those are great fights.

                  Lol it's not that bad.

My main issue is that this fight isn't main event material. People don't want to see it and it has no importance.

Good undercard fight but **** main event.

At the start of January, Comcast (America's largest cable network) moved Spike from the Digital Starter tier to the Digital Preferred tier. Which is unfortunate because I have Starter so I don't get Spike anymore. Gotta be the first time a basic cable channel like Spike was moved to a higher tier.
