Its true that he longer will be the A side if he gets knocked out. Everyone knows that this was a business move for Khan which is a smart one. He gets a big payday against Canelo. If he wins it will be a big upset and his popularity will reach a new height, and also more money in the future. If he loses, it wont hurt him too much because he is expected to lose and he can still get high profile fights at welterweight. While it may be a risk, it is also a smart move, money wise.

Khan has lost to all the good fighters that weren't old men when he fought them or green. Maidana at 140 10 years ago still your best win?Brook ducked Chaves, Alexander, Bradley, Thurman and Rios. Now he's fighting another D-level fighter Bizier.
Khan will always be the A-side against Brook, it goes without saying. The only way Brook can change that is if he mans up and fights a succession of decent opponents but he's just too reluctant to do so. Even if he fought Khan's last 4 opponents now, Brook's record would improve significantly in terms of opposition he's faced. That says a lot if you think about itComment

Khan doesn't sell tickets in America, and he doesn't sell tickets over here, how would he be the A side against Brook? The only thing Khan has is his name.
If Brook-Khan was made in the UK, 80% of the fans who attended would be rooting for Kell.Comment

To be honest Khan cannot lose by fighting Canelo when it comes to Brook.
Brook is just collecting pay cheques fighting bums.
Khan is, at least in a Marquee fight - win or lose.
Brook could be a a position to be the A side if he actually fought some live bodies, but he won't take on a competitive opponent which is pretty pathetic.
I am no fan of Khan, but whether it was luck or judgement - he has made a cute move fighting Canelo.Comment

Mr.Farhood , Khan is cashing out . That's what this fight is about. He is making more $ to fight Canelo than he would against Brook. You won't see him ever again after this fight.Comment

Why do you guys continue to skew and distort reality, just to make yourself feel better or something? lol..
Maidana was in his prime when he fought Khan, he'd had 30 fights. If anyone was green it was Khan with 24 fights.
But I see, let's roll with that.
So you're saying Maidana was green with 30 fights? Then in all fairness you must be saying Khan was green in all his losses because he had less than 30 fights in all his losses.. Not to mention all those wins before he hit 31 fights, including Maidana, Khan won those when he was green too?
Fair enough.. lolComment

NO see that's you distorting reality like you always do...Kell Brook is unaccomplished right? 35-0..I mean how could Khan demand anything from such an accomplished champion right? Wrong..he has fought one Top fighter in Porter and Maidana had fought 1 semi-top fighter in Ortiz who floored him three times...Why do you guys continue to skew and distort reality, just to make yourself feel better or something? lol..

Maidana was green and Khan was hanging on for their life getting his head rocked from the widest looping right hands you'll ever see.
Listen man, I've no problem with you personally, but if you think that Amir Khan is the best or most talented fighter in the world(which you clearly do) then you are a sad delusional little man for that reason alone.Comment

Flawed logic again man. Conveniently omit the fact that Porter got a draw with Julio Diaz and in fact most people thought Diaz beat Porter. So Brook just beat a guy that Diaz already beat anyway. He followed Diaz game plan + threw in excessive clinching. Watch Diaz vs Porter 1 to see what I mean.NO see that's you distorting reality like you always do...Kell Brook is unaccomplished right? 35-0..I mean how could Khan demand anything from such an accomplished champion right? Porter vs Alexander was a close fight as was Porter vs Brook which was a majority decision - one judge had a Draw. That one Porter win Brook is riding off is overrated and it's old news. Khan has only fought 4 opponents above 140 and overall he's fought better fighters than Brook even at 147 alone, and Brook has fought at 147 his whole career. Think about that for a second.
Khan's 4 opponents above 140 = Diaz, Collazo, Algieri, Alexander.
Brook's best opponents at 147 = Porter, Jones. He's had 35 fights and he hasn't fought as many decent fighters as Khan has at 147 in only 4 fights. Think about it..
Khan has the potential to be one of the best but he hasn't proven it yet because Floyd, Pacquiao, Marquez + Bradley all avoided him. He can't force the perceived best guys to fight him but if they had, win or lose, they would have all been entertaining fights. Ultimately boxing lost in the end by those fights not happening.
Some of these keyboard warriors have been hating Khan at the expense of actually watching some exciting, entertaining match ups in boxing, it's pretty ridiculous and I'm convinced at this point that they're afraid Khan could actually win which is something they'd rather not witness. I mean if they hated Khan that much, and believed he was garbage, then why not support the match up just to watch him lose and fail miserably?
Lol.. Exactly. It's because they know he actually has a chance of winning against all those guys and they want to avoid that at all costs.Comment

No but Maidana had a shty trainer for that fight. The first thing Garcia did was fix his footwork which was TERRIBLE. He was just a plodding power puncher who had no footwork and his punches were a lil wild. He still almost KO'd Khan. With Garcia as his trainer and the one who fought Floyd in the 1st fight would of beat Khan. If you don't believe go back and watch his fights before Garcia and after. Their all out there on YouTube. Pay real close attention to his footwork and his punches...Why do you guys continue to skew and distort reality, just to make yourself feel better or something? lol..
