I'm more afraid of Stevenson hurting Bhop than GGG trying to hurt Bhop. seriously, I don't want Bhop receiving that Adonis left, assuming it lands. Bhop's defense barely saved him against Kova 2 years ago.

Not sure why everyone is talking about this like it's going to happen. It sounds more like past negotiations than current.

I never was a fan of Hopkins, even back in the day. Being of his age though, and fighting Kovalev and willing to face Golovkin..that's ballsy. You can't knock that.
I think it's a fight he shouldn't take of course, as he's looking his age these days.

IT's not ballsy. It's a money grab designed to prevent his client, Canelo, from having to defend against someone that has a very good chance of beating him.

It also undermines everything the sport is supposed to be about. You are taking a 51 yr old man and giving him a high profile fight that his last few performances clearly doesn't warrant. You are taking one of the top MW fighters and instead of forcing the fight the fans want, are desperately trying to hold it off just hoping you can recapture some of the "magic" that drove Floyd v Manny to record sales.

We as fans need to stop using words like ballsy or courage when a fighter gets overpaid to take a beating or a sure loss. Any fighter would take that opportunity.

Its not ballsy or courageous when networks use their resources to force these types of fights instead of the fights we want. It's corruption. It's greed. It's gluttony.

If Bhop and GGG fight it is not something to be praised.

Saying that 51 year old Hops would be the best on GGG's resume is sad enough, but the real problem is that GGG could have fought a MUCH better opponent at 168 but hid behind a multitude of excuses.

IDK. I would have loved to see GGG fight Ward, but he was mando for a megafight with either Canelo or Cotto. That's a pretty good 'excuse' in my book.

If ii had to bet if either Khan or Wade was going to win their next fight I would take Khan in a NY minute! The odds suck in that fight though compared to what Wade would pay out!

you seem to forget that ward actually turned ggg down. you aren't seriously considering the 50-50 in 15 months after ggg fights canelo offer legit are you? why would ggg agree to that before he fights canelo? that would be like floyd and cory spinks agreeing to a 50-50 split before floyd fought oscar. it's silly enough but giving spinks 50-50 after floyd fougth oscar? not accepting a silly offer is an excuse?

Thats what these people do when they want something done.

GGG can say 50/50 is silly as much as Ward can say 164 is silly. You work things out until something is acceptable to all parties, IF you want it done.
