Their entire economy is dependent on importing raw materials from the US and exporting finished goods to the US. The strains of wheat and rice they use to feed their massive population are developed by the west. We stop sending them our scrap metal and utilizing their cheap labor, their entire economy collapses. They can't even build decent jets and submarines, even if they could they don't have the raw materials to actually build a war machine without importing them from the people they're supposedly going to fight.

No way a huge corporation touches pac, he is probably going to sign with a bootleg chinese maker or some local filipino footwear upstart, this was going to happen eventually, pacquiaos own people would turn on him duringpolitical season, filipino politicians set him up and been going at his neck for years, they want to continue taking donation money that goes to the poor and live lavish, while Pacman wants politicians to give back to the poor and stop human sex trafficking, corrupt politicians get paid by rich white westerners to allow them to have sex with underage over there, these corrupt politicans want pac dead, philillpines and africa are one in the same, blacks and filipinos are the same they strugggle with the same issues, quick to cry racismt, and use their own people and sell them out To the white man for a dollar.

The quick outrage over something he said is funny, some people i know never even watched the whole intervirew they saw the headlines and just went off that. Its like people said kobe was a rapist! Yet if you look at everything, read the interrogation, it was clear this woman lied they had consensual sex, and kobe just cheated on his wife because he said she was no longer affctionate to him at home.

People need to read everything, watch the whole interview, and stop letting the media headline be the end all and be all, the majority of people just go off what the media says.

Pacquiao said he is not condeming gays that this was his opinion on gay marriage. Reminds me of those latino actress who said bernie sanders fans yelled english only chants at them later it was proven wrong, there were no chants, it was one lady just asking the speaker english only please, no chants.

People exaggerating to play victim, people who play victim and cry wolf shouldnt be allowed to speak, they ruin it for the real victims of discrimination or abuse. They throw innoncent people under the bus, watch the docu on al sharpton and twana bradley, thats one of the worst examples of devil lying victim playing at its finest

In the Mid 90's if my memory is correct

Was working for IBM Japan. Took a vacation to Korea, stayed at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul. Went to Lotte world, etc... Met a few fine Korean women and enjoyed myself greatly.

Went to Itaewon to buy shoes and some leather goods. Bought some Jordan's for 8 dollars, they were the over runs, of that years jordans'

Nike doesn't own any factories. None. They OEM that to shoe factories. This allows them to exploit the local labor, without paying fair wages, healthcare etc.

                  http://www.globalexchange.org/sweatfree/nike/faq

                  Nike FAQs
Where does Nike produce its shoes?

During the 1970's, most Nike shoes were made in South Korea and Taiwan. When workers there gained new freedom to organize and wages began to rise, Nike looked for "greener pastures." It found them in Indonesia, China, and most recently Vietnam--countries where protective labor laws are poorly enforced and cheap labor is abundant. Also in China and Vietnam, the law prohibits workers from forming independent trade unions. This was also true in Indonesia until 1998, when dictator General Suharto was overthrown. These three countries continue to be the major places where Nike shoes are made.

Does Nike run its own factories?

No, Nike does not own any of the factories where its shoes are produced; it contracts the work to various factory owners. Nike say it is in the business of "marketing" shoes, not making them. However, Nike dictates the terms to the contractor: the design, the materials, the price it will pay. While companies like Nike used to try to avoid responsibility for factory conditions by saying they were "just the buyer," the anti-sweatshop movement has made this excuse unacceptable and forced the retailers—who are, after all, the ones who make the greatest profit—take responsibility for the workers who make their products.

Why pick on Nike, if other shoe companies are just as bad?

First of all, we heard many, many complaints from Nike workers and local labor groups. The AFL-CIO office in Indonesia, for example, said that Nike factory workers filed more complaints about wage violations than any other shoe company. In the first two years that Nike was in Vietnam, one factory official was convicted of physically abusing workers, another fled the country during a police investigation of sexual abuse charges and a third was under indictment for abusing workers, as reported in The New York Times.

Secondly, it's important to pick a company that can afford the cost of improvements. Nike is so profitable and sells its shoes for such high prices that it can well afford to double the workers' wages without increasing the retail price.

Thirdly, Nike is the biggest shoe company in the world and puts itself forth as an industry leader. Their Code of Conduct says: "in the area of human rights... in the communities in which we do business, we seek to do not only what is required, but what is expected of a leader." By targeting the industry leader, we hoped to make changes throughout the whole industry. This strategy has proven effective. Reebok, for example, has been making improvements in its overseas factories even though it has not been the target of a major campaign. Adidas, fearful of being tarred with the Nike brush, is starting to make changes as well.

IF this was the 2008-2010 Manny, I could see a huge brand like Under Armour (who released a bible verse shoe for Steph Curry); Adidas; or Puma taking a chance on him.
But this is 2016!! Its Pacquiao's LAST fight. What is the worth in sponsoring Pacquiao if he is already 37 years old, and on his way out.

Paccquiao should just wear his old "NO FEAR" brand or make his own company in the Philippines with the MP logo.
It's his last freakin fight LOL there is no gain for either side
