Freddie Roach and Cotto didn't exactly chance that either with Golovkin, did they?

He's got no room to talk.

Very similar situation with Austin Trout as well. The difference is, Lara and Trout accepted their B-side status and didn't put up a fight in negotiations. GGG is making negotiations difficult because he sees himself as an equal star here when he's not.

GBP ain't gonna have to dish out **** to get GGG to agree to 155. GGG can agree to 155 or fight another Wade type in Sept. That or disgrace himself by fighting a 51yr old at a weight he hasn't made in over a decade.

This was taken 3-4 years ago I believe. At that time Canelo was 21-22 yrs old and Golovkin around 30 yrs old.
Just look at the upper body of Canelo. It is wider than G's body from the waist, the chest and the shoulders. If G's body is the body of a MW then frankly we are looking at a super middle weight when we size up Canelo.
Then why can't Golovkin make 155? If you're saying Canelo is bigger than Golovkin, how come Golovkin can't make 155?

That's the part about this whole thing that's ridiculous to me. GGG could make 154 for Floyd. Canelo is bigger than GGG. So doesn't the 155 catchweight benefit GGG here???

Because not all boxers can cut weight like Canelo from their walk around weight. In fact most can't and if they can they lose the ability the older they get. It is freaky how he can. Dougie Fischer at the Ring reckons that Canelo will hit a wall with that weight loss ability real soon, and he may have inside information, maybe even as soon as this fall . We will see. Canelo needs to stay in the gym a lot between fights. If he ever slacks (like Chavez jr.) he'll have real issues getting to 155.

Hoya is a hoe so the Roach might be right

I hope the fight happens...I got this being a good close fight that anyone can win....at 155 I got Nelo but at 160 I slightly favor the K2 cat
