Roach is not the only one who thought cotto won. Mexicans own great trainer nacho even feel the same way.

Or he's bitter that Canelo just beat the guy he had 'rebuilt' through his cherry-picking method.

He does or doesn't at this point I don't think step aside money is going to cut it anymore. If Loeffler doesn't enforce his contract he'll look like it's full of shhh, if he enforces and get Canelo stripped with out a fight it's going to fk with Oscar's leverage. Only people who win here are the fighters, the promotional companies are going to get a ton of shhh if no fight gets made tho.

Yeah that's why Roach and Cotto pushed hard for a rematch, which they most likely would have gotten.

Roach was pushing for a rematch, Cotto told him not to pursue it.

Mexico and Puerto Rico thought Cotto won; that says something. Just because HBO didn't do a great job covering Cotto's work doesn't mean he wasn't working. The likely reason Cotto told Roach not to pursue the rematch immediately is because Cotto knew Canelo would try to be the "A" side this time around, after the controversial decision. Cotto is planning it out, so that he gets a fair deal for the rematch.

I don't think Canelo will fight GGG this year, unless there's a serious catch-weight involved. The thing is, Canelo's a big guy himself, so there will be pressure for that fight to happen. If it doesn't this year, Canelo's reputation will take a big hit. I hope the fight does happen.

If I were GGG, I'd say, "160 or no deal." He has all to gain and nothing to lose from making it look like Canelo ducked him. I mean, sure, there's the money, but GGG will be an attraction all on his own with time. The money will come.

Nacho and Marquez are known Canelo haters so that does not surprise me. I'm Puertorican and I can tell you that fight wasn't even close. Canelo won fair and square.

This, Roach thinks we forgot already the very reason Cotto fought Canelo was because he avoided fighting GGG TWICE. He rather pay money for GGG to do nothing than fight him.

Roach may be right, but it harms Canelo's Numbers

Canelo has already gotten a lot of crap. He ducks GGG, I suspect he'll start to look like Chavez.
