In his last fight everyone was cheering for the Polish guy.

I'm not biggest fan, but I don't think he will vacate that would be even more embarrassing for him than for Canelo picking Khan to face him whilst he's supposed to be facing the best in the division he holds the lineal belt at.

Wilder messed up by running his mouth in the press that "he will never go to Russia." He basically handed team Povetkin all the negotiating power.

They know they can back him into a corner and either vacate or have to travel. On top of that, if he has to travel, Povetkin is already in his head because he's fighting a guy that he knows is in unfamiliar territory and does not want to be there.

That's why you should just always say I'm ready to fight anyone anywhere. It's up to my management.

I don't think Wilder himself wants to give up his belt. However if Al Haymon advises him that it's the best thing to do, that he will get him the Fury/Wlad/Joshua fight etc, then yeah i could see it happening. Look at Quillin.

Russia entire athletic dept got busted for helping them cheat. From the testers to the higher ups and some even started dying. And this was recent. Yeah i wouldnt go. Not to mention have you seen Povetkin lately?

I want Wilder to KO Povetkin, be it in America or Russia, and if i had to bet on either of them, it would probably be him, due to size.

Also, there's most likely more cheating going on in the US than in Russia, so what's the point? I know that FAR FAR more pro athletes from the US have been caught doping compared to Russia.
