Ukrainian Wlad went to Moscow and beat Povetkin

But if we're arguing about corruption, then we shouldn't wish for the bout to be staged in the US either. In fact, it shouldn't even be a boxing match, where corruption is pretty much the established order.

regardless, this fight is very winnable for Wilder and I hope he doesn't have an issue going to Russia. I see him stopping Sasha within 10

It really makes me cringe when Wilder comes out with 'everyone wants the WBC, its the most prestigious belt' etc. Whats the logic, that it was held by great fighters? The fighters made that belt, and that needs to apply to him as well. I want to believe his desire to unify all of the belts and becoming the recognised champ etc, but its hard to accept if he's leaching onto supposed prestige of a belt that currently means nothing. Just my thoughts anyway
I agree with you. It's a paper title. But at the same time it still has history and it would be a shame if he vacates it because of refusing to travel.

Nope Russia is far worse. Not saying about the people but its athletic dept. Corruption at the highest order. Except the ones that died

              I wouldnt go to Russia

Wilder will vacate citing concerns about peds & dodgy judges in Moscow.

In his last fight everyone was cheering for the Polish guy.

Im not Wilder but if he does vacate i wont blame him. Dont get me wrong a fight in Russia would be cool to see but lately, not in the past but in the present, there is major corruption in the athletics dept.
