Comments Thread For: Mariusz Wach Targets Mike Mollo For 5/14 Clash in Poland

Mike Mollo (21 -5-1, 13 KO) may set a record for fighting the most Polish heavyweights in the last few years. Mollo has been in the ring with Andrew Golota, twice with Artur Szpilka, and broke a long layoff in Poland on Saturday night - with a surprise first round demolition of previously unbeaten rising contender Krzysztof Zimnoch (18-1-1, 12 KOs).

Make it happen! Wach then a rematch with Zimnoch... Mollo must know some good places to buy Polish sausage in the States & Poland... War Mollo! I like seeing journeymen get some good fights & a little travel time. Collect a check & travel the world. Mollo should get back in the gym & get in better shape as he looked pretty flabby & I doubt he would have been able to keep up the offence past a couple of rounds. He caught Zimnoch early & finished him off. Jason Gavern vs Mike Mollo would be a fun fight both in the ring & at the press conference...

Was surprised Mollo was able to come off such a long layoff and beat a fringe contender like Zimnoch. Good for him, he's always in fun fights. I have a tough time seeing him beating Wach. Wach is underrated imo and has one of the best chins in boxing. Late stoppage for Wach would be my guess

I saw the fight too & I think Zimnoch took him lightly. He got caught with a surprise punch & unlike Szplika he wasn't able to recover. Mollo was not in great shape so I suspect that had a lot to do with Zimnoch's overconfidence. Zimnoch TKO's Gbenga Oloukan it 2 rounds his last fight with a devastating elbow that the ref missed & that led to Zimnoch's early win. He may have taken too much out of that fight. It was clearly the foul that Oloukan couldn't recover from. I hope Mollo fights Zimnoch & Wach...

Zimnoch looked unprepared and paid for it. I think Wach is too much for Mollo, Wach is terrible but he has world level experience, is durable and can wear Mollo down with his size alone. A mismatch IMO.
