I tend to agree, Wilder will get a bigger payday that way. Although Im sure he would rather face another no hoper for 1-2 mill.

At first the Hymie Defence Squad be like, "Kovalev-Stevenson can only happen wit da purse bid. Duva and HBO be ducking da purse bid. Can't wait until more PBC fighters force Kovalev to vacate his belts. "

Now the Hymie Defence Squad be like, "Dis sum boosheeeit y'all. If Povetkin wants da fight, he gotta accept Al's terms. Purse bid ain't fair. Povetkin just wanna win a lame vacant belt instead of fighting da real champ."

That's the way of thinking of Haymon fans. People say Haymon has money, but he is not able to stage megafights with purses over 4-5M$.

Wilder can receive a much bigger purse than he does fighting voluntaries (7M vs 1M?), but people is asking him to don't accept the offer.

            Povetkin is on roids though...
            Ruskies will buy judges...
            It's too cold in Siberia...

Martin probably was offered 1-2M$ to face Wilder, and he thought "f**k it, I'm going to UK to get a bigger check". 3-4M pounds, 4-6M$ probably.

lol look at a map soon bro...saying fury went to germany is like saying wilder went from bama to texas...
but you are arguing the wrong man..i feel wilder should go there, but after the robberty that juwt happened..btw wilder is the champ..not the challenger tho..so their is a difference..im just saying povetkin shouldnt be turning down a fair deal that has no politics in the way just bc wilder gave away the secret of not wanting to go to germany/russia

Nobody has the right to turn down a fair offer except Al Haymon and Adonis Superduck Stevenson.
i think you are overlooking history...povetkins ppl and haymon dont have a beef
roc nation and haymon do have a beef
duva and haymon do have a beef
and he still let both purse bids go down
roc nation won the bid with a TR fighter vs a hymaon guy...tr wouldnt deal with hyamon to make the fight happen just like they wouldnt deal with him with lomo..they just relied on bids
duva just dropped out due to hbo politics...
that is not the same as povetkin hearing "i wont go to russia" and saying hey lets act like we are listening, but not listen and outbid at a purse bid to just steal the title and rob the fans of a fight bc we know he doesnt want to come here

no look i think wilder should go there if the purse is worth it...if not he's risking way to much for povektin..robbery and roids imo...and povetkin cant even offer him a belt...and if povetkin wins the belt u'll see he wont fight any real hw with a pulse..just like he did the last time he had one

But he didn't have a proper world title, and didn't really try to say he did. It was always about fighting Klitschko, which he did when the purse bids happened.

His title was just as worthless as Fortuna's current belt - Wlad and Takashi were/are the kingpins (a low-blow, I know, sorry bro )
