GGG has fought many top 10 and top 5 fighters at MW already. To say that some JMW (who you admit may or may not be on that level) would be his best opponent is ridiculous. He wouldn't be the in GGG's top 5 wins, Canelo already fought him, and (for BJS) Andy Lee would be favored over him.

There is a myth that lara would give GGG problems but this is complete fallacy. Easy for gennady. Lara got cornered and cut off by angulo of all people...

What are GGG's 5 best wins/opponents? I assume Lemieux, Murray, Geale, Macklin, Stevens....not all that impressive tbh. Yes he's beating the top guys at MW, but there are guys missing. It might not be his fault, but it still matters. Lara is stylistically tougher than almost every GGG opponent and the physical attributes to have some success. However, all of that becomes moot because he isn't in line to face GGG nor is he a relevant MW.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone actually say that. All that's been said is that he is a higher calibre of opponent than anyone on GGG's resume, which he is. He'd be his best win by a country mile.

The thought of it somehow seems to worry the fanboys.

comparing Lara's resume to Monroe Jr. or Wade somehow doesn't seem right...
Good thing I never actually compared Lara's resume/skills with Monroe or Wade's. I compared their economic value (which is the main issue holding up the fight).

Lara's a fantastic talent but that's meaningless in the business side of boxing. And the reason GGG fight hasn't happened (what the thread is about) is because it doesn't make sense business wise. Would I like to see GGG vs Lara? Sure. Do I think the fight is realistic? No and it's not realistic because of the business side of the sport, which is an important factor to consider.

I can't blaim him however he drew around 800 to 1 thousand people to his fight in Miami and he's Cuban lol the fact is here it goes.....NOBODY CARES ABOUT LARA..... so stop complaining about it..... fact is he should be kissing canelos ass for giving him that shot on PPv and that big paycheck he got. And what exactly did he do in his fight with canelo....jack shiz... he did nothing in that fight to say that he was a fighter that should be on the big stages of the sport. The main events, the ppvs, the 24/7 s.
Judging by the 10 pages your thread trying to bash him has generated I think it is safe to call this a massive backfire fail.

OP tries to bash Lara and it goes something like this

It doesn't matter what he has done at this point. What matters is why is he fighting cab drivers if he is that good?

There's Charlo in his own division. There's J-Rock. He can rematch Martirosyan. Andrade stalked Lara like he's some celebrity and Lara refused to make the fight. And Lara chose Rodriguez, Ishe Smith and Zaveck.

Man, come on, stop this silly nonsense about this twitter guy.

Hes a small 154LBer . Lemieux is a better win for GGG even curtis stevens is a better win because theyre both actually big solid middleweights.
