If not for Prodnikov getting touched up by a shell of a shell of Castillo and beat down by Matthysse as much as he was, I'd probably be okay with this at 147 or close to it. But it's really not a fair fight. Ruslan stalks his opponents with his face out without throwing punches, and that's exactly what you don't want to do against this version of Cotto. It'll basically be the second Margarito fight all over again.

Maybe a mis-match on paper and yes Cotto should win big but hasn't made 147 in a few years and I'm looking forward to see Provo at 147. His style will make this a very entertaining fight. Win lose or draw Provo should stay at 147.

When was the last time Cotto wasn't the smaller man in the ring? I don't think this is the fight that should be made right now, but Cotto has fought bigger men damn near his entire career. I was hoping for Maidana, but I aint knocking Cotto's camp for trying to find a decent opponent thats closer to Cotto's size.

Provodnikov: height 5'6", reach 66", last fight weighed in at 146.5 lbs

Cotto: height 5'7", reach 67", last fight weighed in at 153 lbs.

              Overreact much?

Cotto won't agree to Provo's clause that Cotto has to stand there and let Provo hit him.

Seems like this match-up would be at a catch-weight, which isn't a problem because neither has a belt. Provodnikov will probably catch a beating.
