You're making it sound like Pac is advocating for death of gays when he is quoting from the Bible. I think that is incredibly misleading. Many people who attest gays and reference the same verse do not actually wish death upon gays.

It wasn't a misquote as such. It was the actual freelancer that was writing the article that quoted the passage in his piece. Pacquioa never said it.

After the amount of flak he took for saying it when he hadn't I can't see him quoting it now. That's what's making me question how legit this story is.

If it is legit (and more credible news sources are now reporting it) then a quote has been attributed to him that he didn't say. He's had to come out and publicly denounce it whilst privately he must have been thinking, "Ohhh, now that's pretty ****in' good!"

This **** storm erupts, he loses his sponsorship and then thinks, "The Leviticas quote! Yes! I'll use that!"

It's likely that he thinks that that quote absolves him of any wrong doing. He has stated on a number of occasions since converting to Evangelical Protestantism that first one should obey the laws of God and only then the laws of man.

There's a good chance that he thinks his Instagram post would be pleasing to The Big Guy and us mere mortals can like it or lump it. Untill one of his advisors have clocked what he's done and asked, "Manny, what the ****!?!"

I know all i keep thinking is , How could he be this dumb did he just fire his PR people trying to save money? If so he needs them back asap. I knew he wasn't brilliant, and Filipinos would be the first ones telling me he ain't that smart, but this is way too dumb.
