Are you sure this is legit? The Leviticus quote was attributed to Pacquioa in 2012 when it appeared in an article by a freelance writer and it was picked up on by other media outlets. Turned out that he hadn't said it at all but he took a good amount of flack before that was established.

It'd be unbelievably dumb of him to actually quote it publicly now.

They spun it by saying he was misquoted. The difference this time is that he posted it on his own instagram and Bob Arum isn't trying to spin it.

It wasn't a misquote as such. It was the actual freelancer that was writing the article that quoted the passage in his piece. Pacquioa never said it.

After the amount of flak he took for saying it when he hadn't I can't see him quoting it now. That's what's making me question how legit this story is.

Maybe I'm giving him more credit than he deserves.
