If Mayweather and Paquio was made then any fight can be made, and that fight took 5 years to make so i am sure that next year if the things talked bout happen this fight isn't as far fetched as some of you think... its like Ward made an offer, and was rejected... and thats the end it can never happen again... how many offers did Floyd make to Paquio and vice versa?

each fighter will make 5-10 million if they fight each other after they accomplish the things that were talked about and that would be the biggest pay day for each of them.
They are 15 pounds apart right now. GGG/Canelo won't happen until 2017/2018. Ward/Kovalev will happen late this year/early next year.

After GGG fights Canelo, he's not jumping 2 weight divisions and Ward is not dropping 8 pounds as he will be a full fledged light heavyweight at that point.

This fight has so many "what ifs" at this point its absolutely ridiculous to bring it up. Virgil Hunter and Andre Ward said the ship has sailed in the Barrera presser. They've moved on to bigger and better challenges at 175.

the fight wasnt realistic then and it isnt now, unless GGG is willing to move up

Also what I find funny is the fight is realistic if he beats arguably the top light heavyweight in the world, in the meantime, who will GGG be fighting?? The Rosado's and Wade's of the world and continue to rack up wins over mid level competition or will they finally face a legitimate threat or elite fighter to build his following....fans arent ******...we know his competition isnt all that for all his hype.
if you actually listened to the interview he said after Ward beats Barrera and kovalev and GGG beats Canelo (not the wades and rosados of the world but Canelo) then the Ward vs. GGG fight will reach superfight status which is something it wasn't when Ward was not fighting or fighting the Paul Smiths of the world.

if we know anything is that money talks. i truly and honestly believe if Ward came to GGG (or vise versa) and said 10 million lets meet at 170-172... the fight will be signed on the spot. After Kovalev what does ward have? there is really no one out there if he beats Kovelv convincingly and he would revisit the GGG option if GGG also beats Canelo. right now they aren't going to talk about it because Ward has two big challenges ahead of him, but once those are out of the way i don't think there will be much in a way of stopping this fight especially if both guys can make the money that they are gong to make from fighting each other.

Are you that simple...that gullible....he hasnt even fought at 168 yet and you think he'll fight Ward between 168-175....there would have to be a catchweight.... if he beats Kov and Barrera....thats even more reason for them to avoid Ward....you really think if Ward beats Kov, who is bigger, stronger, and if not more skilled than GGG, that they'l put their prized horse in with Ward who is far more proven than GGG just like Kov is more proven than GGG

It would be nice if they fought, but Im not losing sleep over it....if Ward gets hurt or dropped and still wins there is a possiblity....deep down inside they want to see some vulnerability in Ward first before they take the risk...its obvious

I can absolutely look in the mirror. Catchweights exist when fighters in different divisions fight another. This is EXACTLY what a fight between a MW and a LHW is.168 is in the middle of of 175 and 160, if I wanted to be a mathematical ****, I'd point out that it's closer to 175 than 160.
Ward has also fought at 168 for a DECADE. There are no surprises for him at that weight. Golovkin has not fought above 160.

It's also worth mentioning that 2 months ago you trolls were saying that Ward is being forced to move up, that he can still make 168 without problems and that it's a huge conspiracy to get Ward beat. You can't have it both ways. The same way you ******s keep quoting Glaser's numbers for Golovkin and ESPN numbers for Cotto/Canelo.

So yeah, take your hypocritical bull**** somewhere else. Try texasboi or aboutfntime - they will eat it up in seconds.

i believe it will happen. I dont think that beating Kovalev will make this fight less likely, in fact i think this fight will most likely happen if Ward wins. Team GGG didn't fight at 168 but they tried to when it came to big cash cow names like Froch and Chavez. Like i said before Ward is no easy fight for anyone and when you have shots against Canelo/Cotto in the near future you wouldn't have much of an incentive to go up to fight a higher risk lower reward fighter like Ward who has been away from the public eye for majority of the last 3 years... that wouldn't be the case by end of this year. As a GGG fan i would support this fight 110% if Ward and GGG win their fights with Canelo and Kovalev.
