Bearing in mind, gays can only express their dismay about Pacquiao's comments because they have the right to free speech too. A right they seem to be aiming to take away from Pacquiao through the recent attacks on his otherwise good character.

How is anyone saying Manny doesn't have the right to say what he wants?

To me this is a simple case of a bunch of cats saying what they wanna say. Manny said his peace, gay people said there's & then Nike said there's. No one is being stifled. Is it better to be self-stifled? I think so for guys trying to be in mainstream society & I suspect there are probably lotsa cats in the public eye out there who hate or dislike or would be more openly judging certain groups of people that would be un-PC to hate or dislike that just keep that **** to themselves.

Who says this is Manny vs Gays? Nike made a business decision to let Manny go, he's still allowed to say or feel whatever he wants but he isn't entitled to a sponsorship deal.

Freedom of Speech doesn't mean that you won't face backlash for the things you say. All it means is that the government cannot censor or punish you for the things that you do say. That also means that when a company like Nike sponsors you, and then you go and say some offensive **** like that, they have every right to drop you, just like now the NBA dropped Donald Sterling. You can say whatever you want, but you also have to be prepared for what follows. All the **** Manny's getting is on him. You can't blame a whole group of people for being upset when someone goes out and publicly compares them to animals.
