Political correctness is such a disease.

Pac has his opinion and his belief. Let him express it and let it go. That's what free speech is for.

I wonder if the people supporting this realize that trends change and one day, it could be that being gay is looked at so kindly as it is now and the same consensus PC police will condemn somebody for saying the opposite of what Pac said.

Either way is just as ******. Beliefs and opinions shouldn't be punished. The more they are, the less people will actually speak the truth. And good or bad, I'd rather hear them say what they think instead of BS.

Arum loses points with me on this, but then again, he didn't really have any points here anyway. He has the integrity of an ambulance chasing lawyer and changes with the wind. I'd love to see him get out of the sport altogether.

he should seek legal help and sue nike..he only spoke on h is beliefs as a preacher..he didnt harass anyone at nike bc of ****sexuality

now if he goes gay bashin..i assure you i'd feel that he need punishment
but these same gays that he talked about troll christians to death and marched up and down time square with a gay jesus on the cross being kissed by another man...
WHERE WAS NIKE THEN?? WHERE WAS THE FUSS THEN??
WAR ON BELIEFS, MEN, AND YOU VOICE IS NOW
how is calling gays sub human not gay bashing? its like everytime there is back lash over something like this people take it personally with their religion. keep in mind people used to use the same argument for their belief that blacks were sub human and here to treat whites as well and they used genesis:25 as their reasoning the same exact way they use the bible for their hate of gays today. eventually hiding hate behind a religion doesnt work

Pacquiao is an idiot. At the end of his career where he's not making as much money as he used to so he should be greatful for any sponsor that he still has. Then he goes and says some dumb **** and gets dropped by Nike.

Im the type that believes that anyone should be able to say whatever the f they feel like saying but I also understand Nike's action so I cant blame them.

The self-righteous, sanctimonious hypocrites like Arum are out in full effect... do people really buy anything people say in public settings?

No, I did not. Just because I believe in Pacquiao's stance doesnt mean he should had said it.

And if you're talking about the second half of my comment, what I meant was, that I can't blame Nike for doing what they did because if they didnt take action then people would trash them instead and it would look bad on them. Maybe the people at Nike feel the same way Pacquiao feels but they had to do what they had to do cause in the end, it's all about money.

Bob using that experience. Smart move by making a statement and the timing was right. Has to keep the posibilities open and maintain a positive relationship with Nike for future possibilities.
