well when you are religous every single thing you do contradicts other things you do so what's one more contradiction? religion is just a way to spread hegemonic beliefs that date back to the stone age. i think its time to get out of the dark ages. they were called teh dark ages for a reason, because people were left in the dark and uneducated.

He has only himself to blame. Yes, His views comes from a devoted Christian perspective. You know probably 90% of devouted Catholics don't agree with gay marriage. Manny was between a rock and a hard place.He was probably asked about gay marriage, and said what he believed. He could have lied, but then lying is a sin, he told what he feels but then he paid for it anyway. He could lied and said he supports it and all would be well, but he chose to tell the truth.
