To be fair to Nike, I'm sure it is in his Contract as far as representing the Brand in a certain way. Me personally I respect the man for standing on his believes regardless if I agree with it or not.

well when you are religous every single thing you do contradicts other things you do so what's one more contradiction? religion is just a way to spread hegemonic beliefs that date back to the stone age. i think its time to get out of the dark ages. they were called teh dark ages for a reason, because people were left in the dark and uneducated.
