Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao: Shoulder is 100%, I Still Feel Like I'm 25, 27

As his final career fight approaches, Manny Pacquiao has insisted that he's remained as physically capable in the ring as a decade ago.

Pacquiao returns to the ring for what he claims to be the final time on April 9th, when he faces Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas

If PAC feels OK, I dont believe Floyd when he says his body is breaking down! PACs had many more fights, takes moire punches and has been koed.

We hear this from older fighters all the time though, until they get in the ring and they look their age.

How many times in the past few years have we heard Pac's "killer instinct" him back? only for it to go missing when the fights arrive.

Yeah because everyone's body is exactly the same and we all age at exactly the same pace.

        Good theory that, squire.

          Pretty much.

Pacquiao is known for staying in good shape even when he's not training. I'm sure he feels 25 physically, but he hasn't fought that way in years and never will again.

LOL at the ****sexuals and animals comparison. Pac needs some sensitivity training.

I pick Bradley to win. Most of what made great Pacquiao was his ability to overwhelm opponents with flurries. You see flashes of it here and there, but not like in the old days. Also he needs someone to kinda sit there and trade with him.

Yep. And I'm not convinced that he can beat a Bradley who should be hungry and motivated.

I'm one of the few who thought Bradley edged the first fight over Pacquiao. I just smh when people say it was one-sided. I did think Pacquiao won the rematch decisively with an underrated performance but it was a good scrap early on. It's hard to get up for this rubber match but it carries major implications and I think might feature some fireworks.

I think Bradley will fight a smart fight coming up. Not saying he'll win, but I think Bradley felt a lot of pressure in the second fight. If he won that second fight decisively, that would have also proved he won the first fight. Bradley tried to beat Pac in the second fight the way Marquez did. I think he'll try to beat Pac the way Mayweather did in this third fight coming up, just my predicition.

I thought Pac won the first fight very clearly both times I watched it, but you're right, that fight wasn't as one sided as most people think. People forget that Pac stepped off the gas pedal and gave up some rounds to Bradley. Pac better not take this third fight lightly.

Yep, Pacquiao really did take his foot off the gas in the first fight. A little too much IMO. And you're right about Bradley feeling a lot of pressure in the rematch. He fought like it. Looked like it during ring introductions as well. I'm probably reading too much into it, but I thought Pacquiao delivered a vicious left to Bradley's psyche when he looked a **** talking Tim dead in his eye and quoted some Bible verse about being humbled or something

Yeah I would think Bradley will be looser in the third fight. But I find it hard to pick a winner here because I have no idea what Pacquiao will bring to the table physically and if mentally, he can get up for any fight following the last one. It's why Mayweather was in a rush to get that last fight against Berto out of the way. Pacquiao took a lot of time off and there are gonna be quite a few days during that long camp when he'll wanna sleep a little longer in those silk pajamas.
