No, Tarver is just another athlete who couldn't handle his money. Same story, different day and different guy.

If I can do well with a middle class salary, I have zero sympathy for athletes who piss away millions or the ones who are dumb enough to marry a gold digger who cleans them out.

Tarver's problems are all of his own making, and he's still in a position where, even if he were to suddenly come into a large sum of money, it would be quickly frittered away. So short answer, no.

What?! I get that a lot of these have leeches around them and come from ****ty backgrounds so they dont know how to take care of things, but Tarver is a sharp guy with a good mind on him.

He earned millions of dollars over his career and then walked into a cushy commentating job with Showtime as an expert analyser or whatever. Another good money job that he could have sat on for some time.

There are some guys who you have to feel for, as they get screwed over big time and dont know any better or how to stop it, but Tarver is definitely, definitely not one of them. If he's broke it's because he's doing ****** ****ing ****, which he knows full well is ******.
