Martin getting credit for doing what he's suppose to do? The sad state of boxing.

Should be a interesting fight however, neither man has proven to be world class yet but the winner would take a step in the right direction.

Fair play to Martin for taking the fight against joshua and especially travelling to the UK ......joshua will win inside 5 rounds and it's promotion into the top league, I have no doubt by mid 2017 joshua will be the force in the division.....a big 2017 summer showdown with either fury, wilder or haye ...Wembley stadium event

Good fight as they are at the same level in their careers. Both up & coming with limited resumes. Joshua has fought the better competition overall thus far but Martin has the best win even if it was from an injury. Martin sees an opportunity to make a 7 digit paycheck & you can't blame him for that win or lose. Nobody knows how good he really is & the same can be said about Joshua. Martin loses & he goes back to smaller fights & 5 digit purses. I totally get why Martin wants this fight. The purse & Joshua is not that experienced so he has flaws. Martin is a big guy & a southpaw. How will Joshua take his punches? Will be confused by the southpaw stance? Martin is the one really benefitting from this fight. This could be his one & only 7 digit purse or it can lead to many more. Joshua is already on PPV so he is a cash cow. He hasn't fought above C level yet & he is already earning 7 digit purses. Joshua loses he still can make a lot of money & will have the support as he can still be considered a novice. Martin loses then he will have to work his way back up & may never get another purse like the one he will get fighting Joshua. This is a good fight for both...

This was interesting to point out, I was wondering how true that was, and if it was not true, who was the real second quickest fighter to win a belt, from what I gathered I got this:

          WBO Featherweight - Vasyl Lomachenko - 1-1
WBC Light Flyweight - Naoya Inoue - 6-0
          WBC Minimumweight - Hiroki Ioka - 9-0
WBO Light Heavyweight - Michael Moorer - 12-0

          Joshua is 15-0.

Good on Martin for taking this as a first defence.

Would have liked AJ to have had a few more fights, but this is good news. Should be a great event!

I don't see how that answers my question. I'm going to assume you have never seen any Martin fights other then Glazkov...

It probably will be if it's in the UK.

Obviously I meant at heavyweight. Just behind Leon Spinks - If I'm correct.
